Nikhat is the Director of Abacus Behaviour Consulting. She is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) and a Category-A Behaviour Consultant on the Registry of Autism Service Providers (RASP). Nikhat uses applied behavior analysis and has worked in the field of Developmental Disabilities, Autism and Mental Health in the Greater Vancouver area since 2005.
Nikhat completed her Masters degree in Education with a concentration in Special Education and Autism and Developmental Disabilities at the University of British Columbia. Her work focuses on providing individualized interventions to immigrant families with multiple barriers to service.
Nikhat founded Abacus Behaviour Consulting so that she could focus on person-centered interventions when providing Autism support . Taking the time to create a relationship with the child, their family, and network allows her to individualize plans which lead to successful behaviour change based on the environment at hand.
Breanna is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) and a Category A Behaviour Consultant on the Registry of Autism Service Providers (RASP). She has worked in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis since 2015.
Breanna worked as a Behaviour Interventionist (BI) while completing her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology, Learning and Developmental Disabilities, and Education and Curriculum at Simon Fraser University. She then went on to complete her Masters of Arts in Applied Behaviour Analysis in 2021 at Arizona State University.
Breanna has experience and passion for working with children aged 1-9 years old within their home, school, and community settings.
Edith is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) and a Category A Behaviour Consultant on the Registry of Autism Service Providers (RASP). She has worked in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis since 2017.
Edith holds a Masters of Education degree in Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis from Endicott College.
Edith’s areas of interest include early intervention, positive behavior support, and parent training. She enjoys teaching adaptive and functionally appropriate skills to bring meaningful behavior change.
Victoria is a Junior Behaviour Consultant and has been working in the field of ABA since 2017.
Her passion working with young children started when she began working as a Child and Youth Care Counselor in 2015. Over the years, she has volunteered with Big Brothers, Fraser Health Crisis Line, and Vancouver Children's Hospital. In 2017, she started her journey as a Behaviour Interventionist, and in 2022 she graduated with her Master's in Science in Applied Behaviour Analysis.
Victoria has extensive experience working with youth and young children. Her passion is to help them grow and cultivate a healthy relationship with family members, friends, and with their community.
