Autism support in the Greater Vancouver area

Nikhat (Nikki) Ali, M.Ed, BCBA, IBA

Nikhat is the Executive Director of Abacus Behaviour Consulting. She is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA), International Behaviour Analyst (IBA) and a Category-A Behaviour Consultant on the Registry of Autism Service Providers (RASP). Nikhat has worked in the field of Developmental Disabilities, Autism and Mental Health in the Greater Vancouver area since 2005.

Nikhat completed her Masters of Education with a concentration in Special Education and Autism and Developmental Disabilities at the University of British Columbia. Her work focuses on providing individualized interventions to ethnically diverse families who may be experiencing  multiple barriers to service.

Nikhat founded Abacus Behaviour Consulting so that she could focus on providing person-centered interventions. Taking the time to create a relationship with the child, their family, and network allows her to individualize plans which lead to successful behaviour change based on the environment at hand.
